so called IDIOT lights are not IDIOT lights at all........look at them often
It's not a good idea to ignore:
high temperature gauges...if your engine is HOT,
pull over shut of the engine, call for help
service engine soon...means JUST THAT. Could be a malfunction
of some small part, but, lets not take a chance with a costly
piece of machinery you depend on!
voltage gauge...might mean you won't start your car again after
you turn ignition off...this recently happened to me. Thankfully,
the car started again and the battery was immediately replaced.
With cold weather approaching, can you afford to not have
you car start?
Oil pressure gauge...no oil flow to the engine is BIG TROUBLE!
Pull into any gas station and have your oil checked and if low
simply ask to have oil added.
The most common cart problems usually have warning signals...
squealing breaks...get your brakes looked at.
You family and your life may depend on the safety and the ability
of your can to be dependable.
Check the above daily, get a maintenance check 2 times a year,
get your tire pressure checked once a month or more.
