Make repairs before they are performance and safety issues!
One of our major investments in time, money and safety is how well our cars perform. Worn out parts show them selves earlier than you can detect them and only if you know what you’re looking at. We do these kinds of inspections free!
Even with the above and car repairs often being expensive, it's tempting to overlook them. However, putting off repairs can be even more costly with it being a dangerous waiting game. Ultimately, routine maintenance is much cheaper than ignoring a mechanical issue that is certain to escalate.
Your car’s owner’s manual will always state what the manufacturer recommends and in order to keep your warranty in good standing it must be followed. And if you don’t have your owner’s manual find it on line by typing make, model and year into Google then: SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS!
Repair shops:
Find someone you can trust early in your driving career by asking family and friends for someone who’s reputable. The worst time to find a repairman, a mechanic or even a doctor is when you really need one. Doing things that way can find you being in the wrong place at the wrong time and incurring a large expense that may not be needed.
Also, check out certifications or membership in professional associations like the Tire Industry Association and the Chamber of Commerce. Do a Google search and see what kind of “profile” an auto repair or tire dealer place has online. Keep in mind that often people with are a gripe are the ones who write reviews and those who are satisfied tend to take it all for granted as they have been spoiled by expecting perfection. That’s just human nature.
