Just like you find a doctor BEFORE you get sick, please find a good car repair shop BEFORE your idiot lights go on or you breakdown on a dark road somewhere or some time it's really, really inconvenient or unsafe. Getting stuck might expose you to getting an astronomical repair bill or perhaps danger depending on where you break down. This is especially true for our female customers. And ladies, always check the back seat of your car before opening your door. You never know and an ounce of prevention can go along way in keeping you safe.

Here’s a few tips to save you some money during these tough times:
1-Oil changes and high test gas
check your owner’s manual for how often to change your oil and what type of gas your vehicle’s manufacturer recommends. If your owner’s manual says regular gas, use it and save yourself 20 cents per gallon or more over high test. If you’re changing your oil every 3000 miles and your manufacturer says every 5000 miles, why toss that extra money down the drain?
2-Find a local mechanic you trust and give him your business
Too many car owners go from shop to shop, forking over bucks on major (and some times minor) repairs. Find a place that gives you advice free, is progressive and offers specials and has a community presence. Businesses that are doing well are doing so for a reason. Also, please note, automotive shops that aren’t active on the Net can’t afford to be. The Net is today’s medium and method for communication. If a shop has no presence on the Net, you might want to find one who does simply because the shop is doing well (FOR A REASON….like terrific service, discount prices, selection of car, SUV and light truck tires, community interest, a big following, etc).
Also, keep in mind that a few negative reviews is the “cost” of doing business. There are lots of people out there who have nothing better to do than be overly picky. However, if ANY business has negative review after negative review, avoid them.

4- Tire rotation:
