106 St, in business for decades, has been increasing it participation in the community over the past year. 106 St Tire & Wheel, early in 2011, became the only tire dealership in the world to offer customers and the community a free downloadable e-book to help educate those struggling with the soaring prices of gas. And this weekend, at Lincoln Tech in Whitestone, 106 St is turning its attention to a more traditional educational environment.

Lincoln Tech has been helping adults transform their lives through professional technical training for more than 60 years. Originally inspired by the desire to assist returning World War II veterans quickly qualify for skilled careers in 1946, Lincoln has gone on to expand its mission and now embraces American adults from all walks of life, offering technical training opportunities throughout the United States within a wide variety of professional programs.

106 St. Tire & Wheel has taken the lead in enlisting the help of various corporations to assist during Lincoln Tech’s event. Wheel companies like TSW, Concept One and Velocity Wheel will be joining 106 St. Tire & Wheel. Also, Falken Tire will also be present at Lincoln this weekend and will sponsor various give aways.

Lincoln Tech is located at 15-30 Petracca Place, Whitestone, NY 11357. The car show and BBQ is scheduled for 12-5 PM, Saturday, May 7, 2011.
